Combining focused theory with hands-on practice, candidates learn vehicle build sequences, precision tightening, defect prevention, and shop-floor safety protocols to meet modern manufacturing standards.
Minimum Qualification Requirements: ITI (Any Stream), Diploma (Polytechnic), or 12th Standard with basic technical aptitude.
Certification & Offering: Certified by the Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC) and offered by Nav Kshitij Foundation.
Course Outline
- Fundamentals of Assembly Line Operations & Safety: Shop-floor orientation, takt time discipline, PPE compliance, 5S workplace organization, and visual standard operating sheets (SOS).
- Fastening & Tightening Technologies: Threaded fastener integrity, torque-angle concepts, calibrated click-type wrench handling, pneumatic nutrunner operations, and Poka-Yoke error-proofing.
- Component Assembly & Trim Execution: Sub-assembly processes, brackets, wiring harness clipping, interior dashboard and seat integration, and fluid-fill/functional check upport.
- Quality Verification & Waste Management: Visual inspection for surface flaws, gap/flushness checks, scrap segregation, defect tagging, and end-of-line handover protocols.
